Like the Lady in the famous poem, there is something quite magical aboutthis special cottage. Situated half way along the Glen Rosa track andsurrounded by green fields and majestic mountains, is this stylishcottage. Reaper Weary is a sympathetic conversion of the oldstables and threshing mill that is attached to Glen Sherraig farmhouseand, for almost 200 years, housed an assortment of animals; pigs, cows, sheep, cats, dogs and horses, only they were not so fortunate as toreside in the five star comfort (Scottish Tourist Board) of Reaper Wearytoday.
Easilyaccessed and on one level, the generous accommodation comprises of abeautifully furnished large sitting room, with french doors which openout to both the front and back gardens. Conveniences such as; free wi-fi, sky television, stereo with I pod/phone dock and DVD player. There is also an elegantdining area. The two large bedrooms, each have a king size bed, and french doors that open out to the back gardens. One bedroom has a largeen-suite wet room with power shower, and the other has a bathroom with aspa bath. We provide you with quality bed linen and fluffy towels. Thekitchen is fitted with integrated appliances, oven, ceramic hob,washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and a fullcompliment of kitchen utensils.
Atthe back of the cottage is a lovely patio with a small stream. Thepatio has steps leading up to a large tree lined lawn and fields, withan impressive stone circle folly with sea views. If you get bored of theback garden, try the front garden, it has it all; views of mountains,river, sea, forest, fields and animals. Private,off-road parking is available for two cars. Reaper Weary is in a ruraland pastoral location, right next to Arran's mountains, but we are alsoonly two and half miles from Brodick pier and two miles from BrodickVillage. The nearest pub and restaurant is just over a mile away, a 20minute walk! Reaper Weary Cottage sleeps four. Dogs are most welcome but please let us know in advance.
